Persevering in a Pandemic

Angelic is a mom of a 14 year old and 6 year old girl and she just moved to Santa Clara County in July 2019. As the pandemic shut the world down, she was forced to quit her job so she could be home with her kids whose school was now canceled. Angelic is making it by now by going to food banks, applying, and reaching out wherever she can get help. Angelic had found herself crying out to God for help when her car started having problems.

"It has been a tough time with the virus going on - and not being able to work, and then I noticed my car making noises. I prayed to God, 'Please Lord give me the help I need to get my car fixed because at this time I can't afford it.' “

She found Maintenance Moms on Facebook, and things began to change. Angelic applied and was interviewed by “a very sweet lady.” An appointment was made, and her car was fixed and paid for the same day. Angelic has a story that many moms have been living throughout 2020 and Maintenance for Moms is here to try to lift at least one burden from a single moms heavy shoulders.
